Three unforgettable days of skating, learning, and community! CAMP SkateIA brings together the world’s top instructors for immersive classes across multiple skating disciplines—plus a Friday night skate, swag, and memories that last a lifetime.

  • Main Camp Overview

    Main CAMP for Skaters Beyond Beginner Level
    May 15/16/17 (3 Days this year!)

    Friday Schedule — May 15
    Location: Sunset View Rink
    9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    Enjoy a full‑day of instruction across a wide range of skating disciplines, taught by elite instructors in a supportive and fun environment. Friday will be about creating and learning foundational skills across 5 disciplines.

    Friday Night Skate
    End the day with a community skate on a new, well‑lit route, open to all camp participants. (Unhosted)

    Saturday — May 16
    Location: Sunset View Rink
    9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
    Classes continue all day
    End the day with a Dance & Dinner (unhosted) Liberty Station intended but TBD)

    Sunday — May 17
    Main Camp Continues with Classes all day in 2 locations

    9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
    Location: Memorial Skate Park
    • Skate Park Classes for those of you who are new to this. Regularly voted favorite class at camp

    1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
    Location: Sunset View Rink
    • Camp classes resume

    Main Camp concludes at 4:30 PM

  • Instructor Development Day

    Thursday, May 14

    Free for All Current Members

    A collaborative, skills‑focused development day where attendees vote on which skills are taught from our Recreation & Artistic Advanced Technical Skills list. Up to 15 skills will be covered with step‑by‑step breakdowns, troubleshooting tips, and optional Urban and Wizard‑style techniques. The day concludes with one or two fun group skate games.

    9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Morning skill sessions
    12:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Lunch break
    2:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Group game
    3:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Afternoon skill sessions

    Industry Dinner (Unhosted)
    Open to all members

    Join us for a casual community dinner exploring the state of the skating industry, opportunities for member involvement, and ways to expand our collective impact.
    Location announced separately.
